Le Jardin

Hello! Recently I became a homeowner! Yes,  my hubby and I bought our first home! It is a lovely house, but what makes it even better is the flower and vegetable garden (somewhat pre-established) in the backyard.  There are rose bushes, day lilies, daises (and a few unknown plants that are blooming) in the backyard and along the sides of the house.  We have one raised bed and a medium-sized plot along our fence that houses our veggies.  We are growing lots of things thanks to the help of my incredible mother-in-law.  Tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, onion, garlic, broccoli, kale, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, and more!!!  Below are a few pictures.  I can’t wait to make my first meal out of our garden veggies and herbs! 🙂

  1. Victory Gardening! Michelle would be so proud of you. I just read that the more carrot plants you have, the more wasps you attract. Those wasps will in turn eat all of the insect pests bothering your garden. It's a risk, but it might pay off? I don't know.
