In the Kitchen: Random

Hey, hey! Oh, my. The last few days have been AMAZING! Not only did I get a tenure-track teaching position, I have been showered with so much love and support from my friends, family, and colleagues that I am almost brought to tears. The stars seem to be aligning for me as some of the things I’ve worked SO hard for are finally beginning to happen. This weekend consisted of heavy drinking, take-out, and a fab dinner party. I was seriously in need of a detox come Sunday. Fresh juice and vegan food will be the norm this week. Below are a few things I’ve made in the last couple of days.

Blueberry donuts and mini-muffins

Roasted chickpea tortilla wrap (with my homemade ranch dressing, spinach, and tomato)

This is what I’m most excited about, my sourdough bread starter!!!! It has to ferment for 5 days, but I will be back with pics when it’s baked!
