In the Kitchen: Valentine’s Day Sweets

Hey there! In my opinion, Valentine’s day is isolating, silly, and a ploy by business America, but what the hec, let’s celebrate love! It doesn’t matter if you’re single, divorced, married, or other. Love yourself if you don’t have anyone else to love. Love your family. Love the earth. I was inspired by Naptural85’s video to whip up some chocolate-covered strawberries. I’ve always tore them up at parties, but had never thought to make my own. They are really super easy to make (I say this about everything, no?). Of course I had to put my own spin on them and use dairy-free chocolate chips from the Enjoy Life brand. They are delicious and only take about an hour to set up. I hope you all have a day and a life full of LOVE!

  1. Once upon a time there lived a saint who was beheaded by the Romans because of his beliefs. Today, my husband takes me out for dinner and gives me chocolates. Happy Valentines Day Everybody! Mail me some of those strawberries, Ev!

  2. Lol. There's so much irony in many American holidays. I don't think these treats travel well, but the next time I see you, i'll have some ready:)
