Growing up I hated having curly hair because I never knew what to do with it.TI never understood what the women in the salon meant when they said “you have such beautiful hair” because all I saw was a big puffy frizz ball. As I grew into a teenager I played around with it and learned to love it but I fully learned to appreciate the beauty of curly hair when I became an adult, during my late 20’s. Now as a mother I had to learn how to multi-task because my time is so limited, so unfortunately my hair including myself gets neglected but I have really come into appreciating the convenience of having curly hair. Saying this, having curly hair is great because of the versatility. I still struggle with managing my hair because my hair has a mind of it’s own so I have good days and bad days, I learned to go with the flow of it. I would still love to learn how to properly care for my natural curls to allow them to flow in their natural state but to still feel like a gorgeous woman/mother. I feel that curly hair is like a curvacious woman; exotic, sexy, beautiful in every state. I love every twist and curl, because every curl is unique and has it’s own form. Everyone always wants curves/curls and naturally or artificially because it’s beautiful.
