No Sweets-Day 2

I think the picture above displays how I generally feel. No, it’s really not that bad. It’s hard, but I’m not miserable. Dates and sugarless sunflower seed butter are keeping me sane. I am eating a medjool date a day for the rest of this challenge. I just learned about of the nutritional awesomeness that dates have to offer so I may incorporate them into my general diet. Here’s how I’m feeling:

*Jitteries- This morning my heart felt like it was beating a bit fast, I felt like I do when I have caffeinated coffee. I think in addiction terms this is called withdrawal.
* Tired earlier- By early evening I feel ready for bed, though I wouldn’t be able to sleep if I did go to bed.
*Hungry!- I’m eating the same amount of food I usually do, but still feel hungry. This tells me that I was filling up on sugar along with my meals and sometimes in place of small meals.
*Contentment- Calmness, peace, less agitation
*Mental clarity- I still feel like I am a little more mentally-centered.

  3. Ha! You look so bummed! Noah cheated and had chocolate cake. He said he didn't want it to go to waste.
