I’ve been soul searching these days. It’s not has serious as it sounds! Just looking for some good soul music to balance out all the Led Zeppelin I’ve been listening to. I found this oldie but goodie by Betty Wright. “Clean Up Woman.”

It’s great cautionary tale to hold on your man before a vulture woman gets him. I’m not sure if I agree with message. But as a writer, I do enjoy the metaphors. The vocals are outstanding and the instruments are real groovy. Check her out. She’s Betty Wright and she’s got a whole lotta soul!
