Hi lovelies! Oh, how I’ve missed blogging. Both my husband and I are teaching full-time now so we are mentally and physically adjusting to new schedules. It’s also important to us that we secure some family time which is not an easy thing to do when you have a job “that never ends”. But no complaints, I’m brimming with happiness. I’ve been up to A LOT and have A LOT going on in this head of mine as well. For now, I’ll share with you all my family’s Labor Day dinner (and dessert). Vegetarianism has been great, I’ve also been whipping up lots of vegan and raw dishes. I love that food is such an amazing and endless exploration. I am a lifelong “foodie”. I was hooked when I had my first homemade peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (thanks Jane Elmore!). For several years now I have been relentlessly studying and making food. I feel that this passion is going to somehow find it’s way out of my kitchen and out of my home, but I’m not sure when or in what way…anyway, back to the task at hand. The Labor Day meal:
This was a deliciously satisfying meal. We all felt full after eating so we decided to re-energize by going for a bike ride.
