DIY: Hair Bow May 16, 2011 by charishhalliburton Leave a comment Hey! I made this hair bow in about 15 minutes. If you like it and would like to make one of your own here’s what you’ll need: 1. Long ribbon2. Metal hair clip3. Fabric glue This is what you do:Step 1: Tie the ribbon in a bow. Step 2: Tie the loose end of the ribbon in another bow. Step 3: Wrap one of the loose pieces around the center of the bow tightly and secure it with fabric glue. Step 4: Wrap the other loose end around the center of the bow from the opposite side tightly and secure it with fabric glue. Step 5: Wrap each loop of the bow under itself diagonally one at a time and hold securely in place. Stick a safety pin in the middle to secure the bow. Step 6: Sew the pieces in place (you don’t have to be a seamtress to do this, trust me, I did a hodgepodge job and it still held in place). Step 7: Stick your metal clip through the back of the bow. Make sure it is secure and VOILA! * Sorry a few of the pics are sideways! I hope you enjoyed the tutorial! 😉 ~Evelyn Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...
