Consistency: Very thick, creamy

Smell: The Honeysuckle Rose smells just like its label-flowers, GPB has a perfumey smell. I wasn’t crazy about the smell of either of the conditioners at first, but they do linger on your hair and I have begun to like the smell.

Review: I’m reviewing both of these products at once because I use them both and I find them to be similar. I purchased the Honeysuckle Rose conditioner first and I’ve been using it for a couple of months now. I remember when I first used, I applied it to my hair in the shower and my hair immediately started to feel like butter-very soft. I didn’t find it to be extremely moisturizing, but I only left it on my hair for a few minutes before rinsing it out. It didn’t dry my hair out at all, but I’m not sure that it added any moisture. I do believe that if I would have left it on longer and perhaps put a shower cap over it for awhile, the result would have been much better. I purchased GPB after watching Hair Crush’s youtube video in which she used the product and praised it. I love GPB! GPB is full of protein and my hair loves it. This conditioner was moisturizing (I left it on with a shower cap for 30-45 minutes) and it brought the long-lost softness back to my hair. I like both of the conditioners, I use Honeysuckle Rose as a pre-wash deep conditioner (I add a little honey and olive oil to all of my deep conditioners) and GPB for co-washes. My hair loves the richness of these conditioners and the great ingredients.

Will I buy these products again? I will buy Honeysuckle Rose occasionally, but I will keep a backup of GPB on hand at all times:)

  1. So far, you're going to make me buy everything you've reviewed, so that's working pretty well! I love your ingredients listing, this makes me feel better about what I'm buying. I think I'm going to copy this format for my reviews in the future.
